

Rheva Irene Grossman, 85 of Huntington passed away at 9:20 p.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at The Heritage of Huntington. Rheva was a 1945 graduate of Banquo High School. She was a 60 year member of the Banquo Christian Church where she was Sunday School Superintendant and Vacation Bible School Coordinator for many years and was involved in the Christian Women’s Fellowship.
She was born on November 6, 1927 in Marion, Indiana, a daughter of John and Mary Edna (Douglass) Good.
She was united in marriage to James Grossman on April 30, 1950 at the Banquo Christian Church. He preceded her in death on September 12, 1987.
Survivors include three daughters: Jane (Ron) Tinkle of Huntington; Pamela Wolfe of Roanoke; Diane (John) Haines of Indianapolis; a sister: Mary Alice Durham of Ocala, Florida; eight grandchildren: Brandon (Jessica) Tinkle, Marissa Tinkle, Arianne (Sam) Robinson, Trent (Melissa) Wolfe, Troy (Megan) Wolfe, Mallory (Tim) Klausmeier, Griffin Haines, Sam Haines and two great grandchildren: Liam Tinkle and Vera Wolfe.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with two hours of visitation prior to the service at the Banquo Christian Church, 8924 S. 900 W.-35, LaFontaine, Indiana with Pastor Brad Kelly officiating.
Interment will be at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Marion, Indiana.
Memorial donations in memory of Rheva may be made to Banquo Christian Church in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
