Rocky Murray

Rocky A. Murray, 56 of Huntington passed away at 2:22 am on December 29, 2013 at the Ossian Healthcare Center. Rocky loved music, rock and roll. He enjoyed playing cards and dice and was a very good cook. He enjoyed animals.

Rocky was born on February 17, 1958 in Huntington, the son of Jim and Garnet (Runyan) Scott.

He was united in marriage to Arlene Gephart on March 14, 2013 in Huntington. His wife survives.

Additional survivors include his mother: Garnet Scott of Arizona; three daughters: Samantha (Joe) Bowman of Huntington; Marissa Murray of Huntington; Jennifer Murray of Marion; a son: Rocky (Stacia) Murray, II. of Huntington; three sisters: Brenda Shell, Chris Scott and Marian Callaghan.

He was preceded in death by his father: Jim Scott.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2014 from 10:00am – 12:00pm at the Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, Indiana.

Burial will take place at 2:00pm on Thursday January 2, 2014 at the Marion National Cemetery in Marion Indiana.
