Ruth Ann Temple, 85 of Ossian and formerly of Ohio and Florida, passed away Tuesday afternoon August 12, 2025, in Bluffton, Indiana. Ruth had worked for Copelands in Sydney, OH for over twenty years. Most recently she worked in Florida in Environment Services in the hospital field. She also helped raise several generations of her family over the years. Ruth had attended the First Baptist Church in Bluffton and had a strong faith in the Lord. She enjoyed spending time with and taking care of her family and her little dog "Pokie". Ruth also enjoyed a good meal and watching TV.
Ruth was born on May 16, 1940, in New Bremen, OH a daughter of the late Herbert and Edna "Miller" Gross.
Survivors include two daughters: Donna Brickley of Bluffton and Diann Maynard of Ossian; five grandchildren: Rachel, Hannah, Jennifer, Tiffany and Debra; six great grandchildren and a sister: May Peters of Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son: Paul Temple, a daughter: Barbara May, a granddaughter: Brenda Temple, a great great grandson: Mateo and two brothers: Herbert Gross and Neville Gross and a son-in-law: Kevin Brickley.
A private Celebration of Life will take place at the Myers Funeral Home at a later date.
