Shelly L. Myers Smith

Shelly Lynn Smith, 62 of Huntington passed away at 10:50 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2013 at her residence. Shelly was a 1968 graduate of Huntington North High School. She was a homemaker. Her family was the love of her life and she enjoyed spending time with them. She loved spending time at the farm and with her dog, Buddy.

Shelly was born on July 9, 1950 in Columbia City, the daughter of Philip A. and Rose M. (Clark) Myers.

She was united in marriage to John H. Smith on November 6, 1971 in Huntington. Her husband survives.

Additional survivors include a son: Christopher (Dawn Davidson) Smith of Huntington; a daughter: Amy (Michael) Langston of Huntington; two brothers: Larry (Terry) Myers of Clarksville, Arkansas; Steve (Karen) Myers of Bluffton; seven grandchildren: Collin, Rhitt, Cole, Austin, Brittany, Alyssa and Peyton; and several special nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother: Lyle Myers.

There will be no visitation or funeral service.
