Sending a prayer of comfort to family and friends of Tom. I can only remember Tom with a smile on his face and a spirit of welcome to all. Attended school with Tom; a classmate of Sue; fortunate to grow up next door to Tom's grandparents (Tyners). The world has lost a gentleman.

Hello Schenkel family. God Bless you all in this difficult time of loss. May His love, peace, comfort and assurance be your strength at this time. My mother, Devota Scott Smith, worked at the Dairy in the office with Tom's mother, Marge, and being from Andrews, we knew both the Schenkels and the Tyners. I stopped by the Dairy a couple times over the past 20 years and saw Tom at least once. Tom graduated with my brother, Billy Joe, and they played ball together. I remember Tom as a very good basketball player and all around good athlete and nice guy, though he is five years older than I am. We ate a meal or two at the Schenkel Farm north of Andrews, when Mom was working there in the late 1950's and early '60's. We loved the whole family and Andrews & Dallas Township and Huntington was blessed to have had Tom and his family in our community, along with Dick and Marion and their families. We remember fondly the Schenkel's Dairy, the "milkman", and the milk on our front porch. Thanks.

Our deepest sympathy to Jane and all the Schenkel family. We were fortunate to have Tom and Jane live in the house next door to us in Florida and we always looked forward to the time they spent here. We shared lots of good food and laughter and we will sorely miss Tom’s smiling face. Hopefully, Jane and family will continue to come down. Blessings to all the family - we feel honored to call Tom our friend.

Words cant explain all the great memories our families have had together. Tom was a great man. One memory was sight seeing driving up side of the mountain and Jane and I holding on for dear life. Our Dairy conferences were always the best no matter where we went.

We have lost a very Good Friend and Neighbor. My Wife and I enjoyed getting to know the SCHENKEL FAMILY while working at the Dairy transporting Milk and Dairy Products for many years. We appreciated the opportunity to work with a very Honest and Dedicated Business man. Tom will be missed by Everyone in the Community that knew Him.
