Tommy G. Saunders, age 81, of Markle, Indiana passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025 at Markle Health and Rehab. Tommy spent his life as a truck driver and loved to be on the road. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. Up to his last day on earth he dreamed of being in the woods hunting in nature.
Tommy was born on June 20, 1944 in Huntington, a son of the late Everett and Elsie (Grush) Saunders.
He was united in marriage to Tresa Lines on March 21,2014 in Huntington His wife survives.
Additional survivors include two brothers: Harold Saunders of Huntington and Terry Saunders of Huntington.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister: Sheila Smith.
A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Warren at a later date.
