Mrs. Foudy worked 30 years as the secretary of the East State Street Church of God, Huntington, and worked until retirement at Foudy CPA Group. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and attended Emmanuel Community Church, Fort Wayne. She served as President of her local Grandmother’s Club and Bunco Club in Huntington.
She was born August 10, 1928, in Warren to Clyde B. and Edna F. (Gephart) Moore. Her marriage was on March 9, 1947, in Huntington to Dale A. Foudy who preceded her in death on February 23, 1987.
Also preceding her in death were 4 sisters: Mrs. Gertrude Clark, Mrs. Esther Pearson, Mrs. Frances Krinn, and Opal Moore; 3 brothers: Clarence B. Moore, Earl C. Moore, and Ralph Moore; daughter-in-law, Kim (Mike) Foudy and grandson-in-law, Luigi (Laura) Both.
Surviving are two daughters, Diana S. Foudy and Mrs. Kay (DeWayne) Salter, both of Fort Wayne; two sons, Ronald L. (Ann) Foudy, Huntington and Michael D. (Jennifer) Foudy, Mineola, TX; 7 grandchildren: Joel (Kristi) Foudy, Convoy, OH; Laura Both, Plymouth, IN; Erin Hogan, Decatur, IN; Lyndsey (Zach) LaMontagne, Huntington, IN; Kirsten (Troy) Noller, Ossian, IN; Tyler Foudy, Mineola, TX; and Ryan (Savannah) Foudy, Allen, TX; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday August 8, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Emmanuel Community Church located at 12222 W. U.S. Hwy. 24 Fort Wayne Indiana.
Funeral services will take place on Wednesday August 9, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Myers Funeral Home, Huntington Chapel located at 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington IN 46750.
Interment will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, in rural Huntington County.
