I am so sorry about your loss, but it is Aunt Wardena's gain to be in Heaven with Jesus and her family who have gone on before her. I have such fond memories of our family reunions. So much fun with the aunts, uncles, and cousins. We were blessed with a great family! Blessings on each of you.

I loved Wardena and enjoyed her as a Bishop's wife. My husband is a retired United Brethren Pastor and we live in Van Wert, OH. One special memory is when we had something happening in Columbus, OH and I volunteered to chauffeur her around to events so she did not have to go so early with Raymond and get back to the hotel late.

Warden and I have been friends since 1943. We had so much fun singing in the HC girls quartet. In later years we were telephone friends. I shall miss that evening talk.

Dear Family,
Your parents were the finest example of Christians I have had the honor of knowing. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. What great assurance it is for you to know they are together with their Lord. Praying for all of you and I look forward to seeing them again.

She was one of the most precious ladies I ever met. Her smile was contagious. The love of God just shined through her. I know she is up with Jesus and Raymond.

Wardena was a good friend when she lived here. I remember many times singing duets with her in church. Wonderful memories.
