ALLEN JUNIOR SMITH, 82, of Lesage, widower of Wanda Skeens Smith, passed away March 2, 2013, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in Huntington. He was born Sept. 20, 1930, in Huntington, a son of the late Thurman and Lecta Alice Dean Smith. Allen was a security guard at TSI and attended Cox Landing United Methodist Church. He was also a 50-year member of the Masons and the Eastern Star. In addition to his parents and wife, Allen is preceded in death by 12 brothers and sisters, and one great-grand daughter. He is survived by his three children, Michael (Donna) Smith, Brenda (Rick) Spurlock and Rita Johnson; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, 2013, at Beard Mortuary with Pastor Carl Mouser officiating. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park in Huntington.
