Charles Robert Osburn Jr.

Charles Robert “Bob” Osburn Jr., 62, of Huntington, died Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Cabell Huntington Hospital following a heart attack. He was born September 4, 1952 in Huntington, a son of Charles Robert Osburn Sr. of Hurricane and the late Ruth Brumfield Adkins. Bob was a graduate of WV Tech and was an electrical engineer for AEP. He was a member of Sigma PI Fraternity, Volunteer at Cabell Huntington Hospital and was active with numerous organizations. Bob is survived by his wife, Deborah Ann Osburn; three daughters, Rebecca Lynn Osburn, Savanna Marie Osburn and Melanie Moore; grandchildren, Darren Lahoda, Kassidy Wallace, Chris and Ashley Billups; three sisters and one brother, Kathy Ann Wise of Florida, Donna Lynn Osburn of Charleston, W.Va., Mari Lin Coffee of Columbus, Ohio and Steve Osburn of Hurricane. Memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary by Pastor Margaret Hill. There will be a gathering of family and friends following the memorial service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
