Mildred Irene Mitchell, 101, of Mechanicsburg, PA, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015 in Forest Park Health Center, Carlisle, PA. She was born November 18, 1913 in Huntington, WV. She is preceded in death by her husband, B.I. Mitchell, and by a son, Martin Mitchell. Survivors include her daughter, Marilyn M. Heckert and her husband, Ober, of Mechanicsburg, PA; a son, George G. Mitchell and his wife Dianna of Newark, NY; a sister, Betty Mullins of Springfield, OH; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at the White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Barboursville, WV with a visitation 10:30 a.m. until service time prior. Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
