Evie Mae Currie

Evie Mae was born July 30, 1924 in Raven Hill, Texas to Virgil and Gazzie Bartee. She passed away surrounded by family on July 16, 2012 at her home in Coldspring.

Evie Mae was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother, a devoted Christian, a woman of strong faith and convictions. She led by example and loved unconditionally.

Survivors include: Sons, Holton Currie and his wife Judy, Dalton Currie and his wife Linda, Richard Currie, Virgil Currie; Daughter, Cindy Anderson and her husband Ricky; 11 Grandchildren; 22 Great Grandchildren; Numerous Nieces and Nephews; Special Friends, Kathy Vance, Minnie Thompson, Heart to Heart Hospice with a special thanks to Louise.

Evie Mae was preceded in death by her Husband, Holton Currie; 2 Brothers; Sister and her Parents.
