Vicki Ringo

On January 4, 2012, after a long battle with COPD, our step mother went home to be with the Lord. She was born on October 24, 1942. She was married to our father, Robert Ringo for 11 years and was a wonderful wife to him. She enjoyed a lifelong career as a hair stylist with her dear friend Fredrick Morris. Vicki is survived by her loving husband, Robert, her son, Barry Lawrence Vacek II (Chuck), her step children, Robert Ringo, Jr. and his wife Vana Ringo of Austin, Linda Reed and her husband Walt Reed of Austin, grandchildren, Michael and Kalah Reed, as well as her brothers, Jimmy Dale Robertson and Ricky Robertson.

A special thanks to Wayne Ringo, Donnie Hart, and Ollie B. Ringo, who often visited, were always supportive and provided many rides to and from doctors and hospitals. Also thanks to Margaret Middleton for the dedicated care she provided.

Services will be held at Huntsville Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 6, 2012. Visitation will start at 9:00 AM Friday preceding the service.
