Alden was born and raised in Hyannis. He was the son of the late Alden Belmont Childs, Jr. and Rita Irene (Robert) Childs.
Alden served honorably in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at the MA National Cemetery, Connery Ave., Bourne on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are asked to arrive by 11:15 AM.
