Annie, as some would call her, was born and raised in Northbridge MA, the daughter of Arthur and Sally Bruneau (predeceased).
Annie attended Northbridge public schools where she graduated in 1972. In 1971 she met her husband of 52 years. Annie worked various jobs over the years, but the one that most will remember was working as a nighttime baker at Shaw’s supermarket in Northbridge. Her journey brought her to Centerville, where she continued to work as a nighttime baker at Star Market in Hyannis.
Annie eventually retired in 2015 to enjoy the fruits of her labor on the good ole Cape Cod. In Annie’s spare time, she loved to knit, bake and spend time with her family. Annie was such an avid knitter that she ran a very small business “Annies Adorables”, where her love, craft and skills brought smiles and joy to all who were involved in the process.
Annie is survived by her husband John Joseph Leary the III, her daughters Jennifer Kuchinski, wife of Joseph; Wendy Tusoni wife of Richard; and her son John Joseph Leary the 4th, husband of Ellen. Along with her own children, Annie took great love and pride in her grandchildren, Zeke, CJ, Chris (predeceased), Art, Summer and Sam. Annie is the oldest of five sisters, Jackie, Bonnie, Joy, and Cathy and eighteen nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 11th from 11 am - 1 pm at the Doane, Beal, & Ames Funeral Home, 160 West Main St., Hyannis.
