Each time "Sugar" comes to mind, I feel the hurt in my heart at losing a friend like him.

I just want to ask if this obituary is about my friend Sugar who I met in Marin County California during my catering years. 

I ask because he was a dear friend of mine. We talked on the phone a couple of times a year and when I tried to call him recently his voice was not on his answering message.
I have not been informed so I started searching and found this obit. I read memories from others and the referred to him as Sugar, which is how he was know here in California.

Tony was sunshine here at Lombard Farms.  He was always so optimistic and generous.  Only a month before his transition, he thrilled the "home alone" neighbors on Christmas Day by sharing his culinary skills providing spiral ham, yams, and other delicious vegetables.  He hand delivered the meals promptly at noon! 

I, for one, will miss the sweet scent of his signature cologne.

I am very sorry to hear today of Tony's passing. My sincere sympathy to the family. He was a cheerful presence here at Lombard Farm. He served us an awesome Christmas dinner with obvious delight. I will miss him and his many expressions of kindness!

We were avid motorcyclists. I rebuilt his Harley Sportster's engine which utterly amazed him and others. I'm going to miss his frequent reminiscing phone calls and long conversations. Rest peacefully "Sugar", grandma's waiting.  Keep your best wheel forward.
