Barbara Ann Carr
September 27, 1932 – May 3, 2022

Barbara A. Ryan Carr, 89 of Centerville, formerly of Savin Hill, Dorchester and Middleboro passed away peacefully at Brookdale Senior Living on May 3rd.
She was the contact for International Sales for Alden Shoe for 35 years. She moved to Cape Cod to be near her daughter after retirement.
She volunteered at the Barnstable Senior Center for many years. She loved to travel and cruise, especially to see her family in Denmark and Texas.
Barbara leaves her sister Valerie Ryan Barry and husband Brian, of Abington, and Barbara’s children, Jackie Campbell and husband Steve of Barnstable, Thomas Carr and wife Mette of Koge, Denmark, and David Carr and partner Candy Scott of Conroe, Texas, her grandchildren, Ryan and Kara Campbell of Barnstable, Casper, Christian and Philip Carr of Denmark and many loved nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents David and Dorothy Ryan, sister Mary Dorothy Ryan, and brothers Raymond Ryan and David Ryan Jr, also her former husband John Carr and longtime companion Michael Nazzaro.
Visitation will be held on May 18th 2022 from 11am- 12:30pm with a prayer service beginning at 12:30pm at Doane, Beal and Ames Funeral Home, 160 West Main St. Hyannis
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Barbara’s name to the Alzheimer’s Family Support Center of Cape Cod, 2095 Main St. Brewster, MA 02631.
