
Jersey, Brett Thomas, 61, of Truro, passed away on August 9, 2016. Brett was born in Rockland county in Suffern, New York on May 4, 1955. He lived his childhood years in various towns in Rockland county, the last before traveling was New City.
In Brett’s youth he traveled extensively, living in Albany, New York, Hawaii, California, Alexandria Virginia, and Hartford Connecticut.
Over the past 20+ years he has lived in multiple towns in Cape Cod, but mostly in the Provincetown area. In P’Town He worked at Vorelli’s Restaurant for over twenty years as a bartender and waiter.
He loved music, often played guitar on the streets of Provincetown and frequented many Kinks concerts and was a big David Bowie fan among others. He loved his Cats Dweezel and Alexander. He loved the ocean and the sand dunes of the Cape.
Brett is survived by his brother, Dennis and his wife Kathy Jersey of North Greenbush, NY and a nephew, Michael Edmund Jersey of Stony Point, NY. Brett is predeceased by his parents, Francis Edmund “Ed” Jersey and Elizabeth Joan Jersey as well as his brothers, Michael Charles Jersey and David Scott Jersey.
