Claire Domanski

Claire was born in Somerset, MA, the daughter of the late Richard and Agnes C. (Fallon) Holden. She is survived by two brothers, John T. Holden of Mt. Laurel, NJ, his spouse Mary, Paul P. Holden of Fall River, MA, and a sister, Ann Marie Sullivan of Centerville, MA, four sister-in-laws and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews throughout the country. She is preceded in death by five of her brothers, Richard, William, David, Joseph and James Holden.

Claire was a graduate of the Dominican Academy in Fall River, MA and Mound Park Hospital School of Nursing, St. Petersburg, Florida, where she earned her LPN. Throughout her career, she was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in several hospitals in Florida.

Claire enjoyed a long and fulfilling life filled with love, laughter and family. While she loved to spend time with all of her family, she had a special fondness for “my sunshine”, a term of endearment she shared with her grand nephew, Timothy McDermet.

Claire’s large extended family would like to extend their gratitude to Mary and John Holden, Dr. Arthur McDermet and Mary Patricia McDermet and their wonderful families for all the love, joy and care provided to her over the years.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 West Main Street, Hyannis, MA and Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. followed by the funeral mass at 12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 76 Wianno Avenue, Osterville, MA. Burial will in Mosswood Cemetery, Cotuit, MA.
