Clifford Joseph Taylor

Taylor, Clifford Joseph, 82, of West Yarmouth passed away suddenly on August 2, 2016. He graduated from Provincetown High School, the class of 1952. He was a basketball star and always loved the game. After high school he joined the Air force, serving most of his time in England. Upon leaving the Air force he attended the state police academy, reaching the rank of Captain, commandant of the state police academy.

Clifford loved his dogs Sugar and Di, and for many years kept and cared for his horses. He was also a proud member of many civic organizations; Hyannis Elks lodge, The American Legion of Provincetown, Isle of the sea Royal Arch Chapter Nantucket, MA, Union Lodge of Nantucket Masons, and Loyal Order of Moose of Yarmouth, MA.

Clifford is pre-deceased by his beloved son Randy, and his parents Gladys and Clifford Taylor. He is survived by his daughter Cheryl, Sons; Darrel and Steven, and many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. There will be a graveside service a Pine Grove Cemetery in Yarmouth, MA on Saturday August 6, 2016 at 10AM.
