Jean was born in Constantine, Michigan to her father, Eugene McDonald Beals, a
musician and her mother, Cora Mae Morrison, a nurse. She lived for 7 years with her
grandparents, Nellie and ‘Grandpa’ Morrison, then she moved to Marcellus,
Michigan to live with her mother and stepfather, Dr. Richard Ferdinand Weirich. She
attended Bethel Woman’s College in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and would absolutely
love coming home to Klinger Lake in White Pigeon, Michigan every summer. She
loved the lake and swam like a fish! She went on to earn two degrees at
Northwestern University. Her most treasured accomplishment was becoming an RN
and practicing Pediatric Nursing in Chicago.
Jean was a wonderful Wife, Mother and Nana to her family. She loved her family
more than anything and she and Scott spent their married life primarily in
Framingham, MA and Cape Cod. They shared a lifetime of happy moments between
some hair‐raising sailing adventures to so many animal stories and simple happy
family times with their children and grandchildren and ultimately great
grandchildren. She loved to dance, swim, ride horses, garden, go to the ocean to fly
kites and watch the clouds. Above all else, she loved and cherished her family, as
they did her.
