Dear Friends of Dana Janson

As Dana ‘s Oldest Son, I wish to share with you her Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren. This picture was taken seven years ago before our move to Florida.

Time, health and distance did not permit this final gathering to take place. I’m just so happy that she did come to visit a few years ago here in Florida.

Dear Friends of Dana Balta Janson

My Mother was the anchor of our family. It was at her insistence that we left Lithuania on July 4, 1944 just after I turned 2 just ahead of the Soviet advance.

This picture was taken by my Father Kazys (Charles) of my Mother and I with her Uncle and Cousins. Through her strength we remained Free. I wish to share this little known memory.

Dear Kris, Henry & Family:

We had on many occasions the pleasure of spending time with Dana while visiting Kris and Henry either in Raleigh or LBK. We shared many stories, hers always being more interesting and had many good laughs together. Dana lived a life that could hardly be considered ordinary. She lived through the second world war, moved from her beloved Lithuania and eventually settled in MA, where she began her family. In conversations with Dana it was very apparent that she loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She always seemed to be so happy with Kris and Henry. Dana also spoke often of her many friends and her life in Cape Cod. She was rich with family and friends and always seemed to be happy.

We'll miss you Dana, rest in peace.

Condolences to Kris, Henry and family.

Dana was a loved and appreciated woman in our long standing bible study in Raleigh, NC. Her kindness, joy, and youthful spirit served to inspire us weekly! She loved Jesus and fought the good fight. Dana will be missed but we rejoice that she is resting at peace with her Savior and Lord. Prayers for her family during this difficult time. Rest well, Dana.

Danute was my Mom's good friend. We have known her for a long time. She was an outstanding person, full of wit and wisdom. Her advice freely and kindly given way always appreciated. Lately I spent a lot of time with her when I was on Cape Cod and missed her while in Florida. Danute was a lady whom I greatly admired . Condolences to Raymond, Kristina and Andy and families. May she rest in peace!

Dana was one of a kind. We met while both living in Raleigh, NC and attending Bible Study in her neighborhood. We soon discovered we had the Cape in common and spent many fun filled summer hours together . We would run our errands and often get a bite to eat while out. Dana was a gifted story teller and I learned much from her about another culture and way of life. I miss her but know she is with our Lord and Savior.

My last memory of Dana was a wonderful one. In 2016 she came to our new home in Fl. She was so happy to come and see where son lived. We had so many laughs and good memories that we talked about. We were so happy she could come and visit. Love you Dana❤
