her loving daughters by her side. Debbie was born in Boston, MA on April 5, 1955 to the late
William Loud Sr and Helen Ives of Florida. She was the beloved daughter to the late Rose Loud
and Helen Edwards. Debbie was also the widow of Manuel “Manny Goat” Gomes of New
Bedford.
For 28 years Debbie worked at The Captain’s Table in the Hyannis Yacht Club where she was a
staple behind the bar. She loved her job and took pride in her work as a bartender. Her love for
her job stemmed from the people she worked with and her customers. She built lifelong
friendships and loved her customers like family. In her spare time she enjoyed going to
Foxwoods, playing Keno, and scratch tickets. Everyone that knew her knew the only thing that
she loved more was her four daughters and her grandkids. She devoted her life to her
daughters and would do anything to see her grandkids happy.
Debbie’s bond with her children was unmatched. She leaves behind her daughters Lisa Buggs,
Nicole Gomes, Tina Gomes, Mandy Gomes and her 10 grandchildren Tyson, Trey, and Tyreese
Buggs; Kayla and Savannah Gomes; Devon Gomes, Jenaya and Nitana Perry; Derek Jr and
Brandon Asdot. She recently became the proud great grandmother to her first great grandchild,
Kamilla Starr.
Debbie comes from a large family and is survived by her brothers Bobby, Gary and Francis Roy;
her sisters Judy Hunter, Tricia Loud, Stephanie DiMuzio, Kim Barber and Lisa Ann Peterson. She
is predeceased by her brothers William Jr, Richard and Paul Loud and sister Ellen Sullivan.
Debbie’s passing leaves a hole in the hearts of many. Including her many nieces and
nephews that she loved dearly. Her bond with her brothers and sisters in law was one that
was unbreakable. She will be forever missed but lovingly remembered by all that knew her.
Visiting hours will take place on Sunday, June 6th from 12:00 to 3:00 at Doane Beal & Ames, 160 W. Main St., Hyannis, MA 02601. Immediately following family and friends will gather in honor.
