Diana Louise Lenci

Diana Louise (Pereira) Lenci, 78, of Sandwich, formerly of Hyannis, passed away on October 21, 2026, in the comfort of her childhood home in Hyannis. She was the beloved wife of Anthony A. “Tony” Lenci with whom she shared 34 wonderful years of marriage.

Born in Hyannis, the daughter of the late Domazo Dutra Pereira and the late Joan Louise (Eaton) Birch. Diana was raised and educated in Hyannis. For a number of years, she was employed by the Barnstable School System. After marrying Tony, Diana spent her winters in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl for many years, a placed she referred to as her “Happy Place”. Diana loved cooking, crafts and creating beautiful things which she often gave as gifts to many people she loved. She loved to make people laugh and was such a wonderful person to all. Family meant everything to her and her memory will forever be a blessing to those she has left behind.

In addition to her husband, Diana is survived by her children, Michael Johnson, Denise Lenci, Dorein Ventura and her husband Scott, and Stacy Wait; her grandchildren, Kortni Rubino and her husband Steven, Krystal Nesta, Dylan Scott, and Theresa Wait; and her great-grandchildren, Ethan Frates, Kamden Frates, Sophia Rubino, and Cecilia Rubino. She was the sister of Jimmy Pereira, Mike Pereira, Bonnie Pereira, Joanne Lovely, Donna Birch, Kevin Birch, John Birch, Mark Birch, and the late Keith Birch.

Services will be held in a private setting with immediate family.
