Doris H. Rosenberg

Doris H. (Gebler) Rosenberg of Hyannis (MA) died on April 18, 2015 at Rosewood Manor in Harwich. She was born on February 26, 1922 to the late Ed and Mabel (Lennon) Gebler and grew up in Rockville, CT. She and her deceased husband Alfred (Peter) Rosenberg were married in 1973 when they moved to Hyannis. Retired from the Prudential Insurance Co., she worked both in CT and on Cape Cod. Doris had a great love of the beach and for Hummels and frogs as evidenced by her large collections of both, and will be remembered for her great sense of humor. She was a special aunt to her niece Donna Murphy and her husband Brian of Brewster (MA); like a grandmother to their children Deron, wife Xenia, daughter Sophie; Brendan, wife Milena; Megan, fiancé Steve & Ella and is also survived by 2 cousins. A service will be held at First Lutheran Church, 1663 Main Street (6A), West Barnstable, on Monday, April 27 at 11:00 AM followed by a committal service at Bourne National Cemetery at 1:15 PM.
