Edward "Bob" R. Cooper

HYANNIS- Edward R. “Bob” Cooper, 70, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Jeannette (Beres) Cooper, with whom he celebrated 44 years of marriage.

Born in Yonkers, NY on May 1, 1947, he was a son of the late Eleanore and James Cooper. Bob proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Prior to his retirement, he worked as an Automobile Wholesaler.

In his spare time, Bob enjoyed working on automobiles, fishing, and woodworking.

In addition to his wife, he is survived and will be deeply missed by his two children, Samantha and Eric Cooper; two grandchildren, Jackson and Stella Brex; and his five siblings, Suzanne Kinsley and her husband Charles, James Cooper and his wife Mellie, Jeff Cooper and his wife Judy, Hillary Cox and her husband William, and John Cooper and his wife Mary.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, April 27th at Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 W. Main St. Hyannis. His Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, April 28th at 11 a.m. in St. Francis Xavier Church, 347 South St. Hyannis. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bob’s name to 1 Love 4 Animals, P.O. Box 1414, Southeastern, PA 19398, or at
