Elizabeth M Lindberg

Born in New Jersey and the only child of George and Edna (Blanchfield) Lockwood, she was a secretary to theatrical producer Leland Hayward until her marriage to John A. Lindberg in 1950. They moved to Yonkers NY, raised two children, and were active members of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Tuckahoe.

Widowed in 1975, Betty worked in real estate and then banking, retiring as a Vice President of Hudson Valley National Bank (Yonkers) in 1991. In 1992 she and her beloved companion, Robert T. Herrick (retired Colonel in the US Army Reserve) moved to Hyannis. There they enjoyed volunteering at the South Congregational Church of Centerville, travel, and their many friends and family.

Betty is survived by her two children, Andrew and Jane (both of New York) and by her beloved companion, Robert T. Herrick.
