What a  shock to about Elizabeth' passing. She was certainly one of a kind, and left us great legacy. as teacher, physical therapist and human being. I treasure,especially her zest for food. Whenever I prepare quinoa -and this is often -- I recall how she introduced it to me long ago-- at her Harwich home..  She was so tickled to get me hooked!

Liz and I knew each other through childbirth circles since 1977.  She was passionate, plain-spoken, and indomitable, yet filled with compassion for women,babies, and families. Her contributions to our understanding of our bodies and how best to take care of them are essential for health.  Peace be with you, Liz, and to Leo and children.

I was shocked when on Jan 15th I was told about Elizabeth Noble's passing.  I have known her since August 1976, worked with her through the Section on Women's Health, and kept in contact with her until just recently.  Elizabeth Noble touched so many lives with her teaching, therapy, writing, speaking, consciousness raising, opinions.  She was literally a human "dynamo", her brain in constant motion. with creative and inquisitive energy emanating from every pore.  My deepest sympathy to her family: Leo, Julia, Carsten and family in  Australia. You are and will be missed.

It was very sad and shocking news to hear that Elizabeth Noble died.  I have been out of touch with her for a long time, but learned so much from her as I worked side by side with her for many years at the Maternal & Child Health Center in Cambridge, MA.
She was an amazing woman, always impacting and challenging people's status quo with 
her brilliant mind...helping people think differently about pregnancy, birth and mothering.

So sorry for your loss. I first saw Elizabeth in 1977 and I am still working as a Women's Heath Physical Therapist. Her passion was infectious and I appreciate all I learned from her over the years. She is an inspiration for all of us.

Elizabeth was instrumental in my development as a women's health physical therapy starting back in 1992.  I took several of her courses and use the information daily.  Her book 'Childbirth With Insight' was a Godsend to me personally, and resulted in the most comfortable delivery I experienced.  As a result, I have recommended it to many of my obstetric patients.  Thank you for your tireless efforts in the field of women's health.  Rest in well-deserved peace, faithful servant.

I have known Elizabeth and Leo for almost 20 years in the field of Childbirth Education.  Both lived their lives for the betterment  of safe, loving, healthy birthing and this is a great loss for babies and women. Blessings to their children and relieved to know she is no longer suffering here on earth.

I met Elizabeth only briefly, she was adventurous and passionate about her work , she will be missed .
