

Ernest Nicholas Incorvati, 92, of West Barnstable, MA and The Villages, FL passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026, at his daughter’s and son-in-law’s residence. He was surrounded by family at the end of his life.
Ernest was born in Newton, MA, the son of the late Ettore and Aurora (DiPietrantonio) Incorvati. He was raised in Newton and Natick , MA and was a graduate of Natick High School, class of 1952, where he excelled in sports, particularly football.
A few years after graduation, Ernest enlisted in the U.S. Army and served proudly for three years. He later moved to Westboro, MA, where he raised his family, then to Fayetteville, NY, before settling in West Barnstable, MA. Ernest worked for Navistar International Trucks and retired in 1992 as a District Service Manager.
Ernest was predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Dorothy A. (Jones) Incorvati (2004), and by his wife of his second marriage, Constance Donaldson (2023). He is survived by his daughter Shery A. Ethier (husband Emile) of Putnam, CT, daughter Ellen M. Aukstikalnis and (Fiancée Daniel Bresnahan) of Sutton, MA, son Andrew J. Incorvati (wife Brenda) of Marlton, NJ, and daughter Susan E. Murphy (husband James) of Cortlandt Manor, NY; his brother Richard Incorvati of Windsor, CT; his 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
He was well loved by the Donaldson family and he shared that love in return. The Donaldson’s welcomed Ernie into their family and he shared many special times with them.
A man full of love and unmistakably full of life, Ernest brought a gracious, gentlemanly spirit to the people and moments he cherished. He was a romantic at heart, and his love for family and friends was evident in the respect he earned and the loyalty he inspired. Full of life, he brought energy and good spirit to the things he enjoyed most.
An active man well into his later years, Ernest found joy in adult softball, golf, and pickleball—earning, at age 90, a Senior’s Pickleball Championship in The Villages, FL. He also loved music and karaoke, and he especially enjoyed the warm weather in Florida.
Visiting Hours will take place at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 W. Main St., Hyannis, MA 02601, on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 8:30–10:30 am, followed by an 11:00 am Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Victory Parish, 230 S Main St, Centerville, MA 02632. Burial will follow, with U.S. Army Military Honors, at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Pine St, Centerville, MA 02632.
