Florence M. Quinn (Peg), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on May 6th after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years, Gerald Casserly Quinn.
Peg was born in 1919 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Dr. Ralph C. and Hedwig (nee Wilczewska) Kestly and step-daughter of Helen (nee Gaulke) Kestly, and was raised there with her eleven siblings. After marriage, she lived in the Milwaukee area before moving the family to Mahwah, New Jersey. Peg provided a loving and welcoming home for her family and friends. While her children were young, she was an active volunteer in their schools. She was a founder of the school library and president of the Rosary Society at Immaculate Conception School in Mahwah, NJ. In later years she took up a career as a librarian, working at St. Thomas Aquinas College and the Mahwah school system.
In 1978 she and her husband retired to Hyannis. For many years she was a volunteer, and later an employee, at the Cape Cod Hospital. Many will remember her friendly and caring presence at the reception desk. She was a faithful parishioner at Saint Francis Xavier Church, Hyannis.
She had a passion for reading and always loved a good mystery. She was a great cook and just recently worked with her daughter, Mary, to produce a cookbook of favorite recipes. Peg and her family are grateful for the love and care her daughter Monica provided in the last six years of her life.

Natick, Kathleen Davenport of Lancaster OH, Joan Q. Bartle of Wrentham, Mary Q. Pope of Concord, Peter S. of Acton, Joseph G. of Springfield PA, Monica M.
