Irving Bernard Goldberg, 86, of Mashpee died on Thursday, January 11, 2018. He was born in Boston, MA, raised in Mattapan and Dorchester by the late Gabriel and Sarah (Levine) Goldberg. Irving lived in Sudbury for 30 years before moving to the Cape 18 years ago.
Irving was an engineer. Prior to his retirement he worked for Raytheon for 40 years. Irving was an avid volunteer. He was integral to the building of the Mashpee Senior Center, the Mashpee Library and helped refurbish Cape Cod Synagogue.
Irving is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Lois (Greenberg) Goldberg; son Neil Goldberg, daughter Elyse McNulty, grandchildren Adam Samuel Parsons, Joshua Richard Goldberg and Zachary Alexander Goldberg. He is predeceased by 3 brothers.
Graveside services will take place 12 noon on Sunday, January 14th at Falmouth Jewish Cemetery with Rabbi David Freelund presiding.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Mashpee Senior Center or the Cape Cod Synagogue.
