Jim attended Attleboro public schools, graduating in 1975. He worked at the Foxboro Company starting in the instrument calibration department then working his way up to the prestigious Exhibits Department where trade show exhibits were constructed. He enjoyed his travel to various cities to reassemble the booths for display.
His craftsmanship served him well as a cabinetmaker, working for companies specializing in high-end kitchens in southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Jim enjoyed hunting and fishing with his dad. His passion for spending time on the water led him to be a lifelong avid fisherman, both fresh and salt water. He fished many ponds and lakes, the waters off Cape Cod, Gulf of Mexico, and a special trip to the Great Lakes. He taught himself fish taxidermy and became quite proficient at it.
Jim will be remembered for his easy smile, his big heart, his willingness to help family and friends, and as mentor.
There will be a celebration of Jim's life to be announced at a later date.
