

Joe was the son of Nicola and Genevieve Cotellessa of Roslindale Ma.
Joe was a graduate of Boston Technical High School and served 4 years in the U.S. Navy. Married to Anne Marie Kelley of Forest Hills for 51 years. Joe is survived by his daughter Joanne and her husband Gary Beaupre’ of Westwood, Ma, son Joseph A. Cotellessa of Belton, Tx. Daughter Judith and her husband Joseph Pirrone of West Roxbury, Ma. son James N. Cotellessa of Rochester, NH. son John E. Cotellessa of Cotuit Ma. son Jerry F. and his wife Wendy Cotellessa of Walpole ma, son Jeffrey A. and wife Marie Cotellessa of Buzzards Bay, Ma. He was blessed 10 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Joe worked 30 years as a Hoisting Engineer with Local 4 in Boston and the last 30 years as the food loving, socializing proprietor of the Original Gourmet Brunch in Hyannis, Ma. He enjoyed the company of regular customers as well as celebrities. Joe was an active member of the communities where he lived. In Boston, Joe was a Scout Master for 10 years, President of the PTA, and volunteered at both St John’s and Sacred Heart churches. Member of PIA, Int. In Hyannis, Joe was the President of the Hyannis Rotary, member of the Hyannis and Cape Cod Chamber of Commerce and Honorary Guest Conductor with the Pops by the sea. He participated in all aspects of life, enjoyed everyone’s company and lived each day to the fullest.

A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, February 23 2015 at 11:00am Our Lady of Victory Church, 230 South Main St., Centerville, MA 02632.
