Kenneth A. Roderick

June 27, 1925 - June 26, 2015

Kenneth was born in Harwich MA, to Antone "Tee Tee" Roderick and Joanna "Besse" Gonsalves. He served in World War II from October 1943 until he was wounded in March 1946. At that time he received an Honorable Discharge and received a Purple Heart for his bravery. He married Mary S. (Fernandes) in April of 1949. They remained married for 62 years until Mary passed away in July of 2011. They spent their lives living in Hyannis and raising their children. Kenneth enjoyed his cars, taking care of his yard and smoking a good cigar. He leaves, behind his beloved brothers Gerald and Robert Roderick. His sister Harriet "Babe" Barrows. He also leaves behind his children: Yvonne Souza and husband James, Barbara Prada and husband Tim, Steve and wife Dorothy, Doreen Maddox and husband George; Gale Barros and husband Mark and Michael and wife Miriela. He also leaves his granchildren: Shannon and Joshua Souza, Tara Way, April and Adam Barabe, Tiffany Helms, Mickey and Gabriel Roderick-Barros and Rhiannon Roderick. His great grandchildren: Aimee, Nathan, Selina, Morrison, Taurien, Kazimera, Raelyn and Declan. Also his best friend George Maddox.. A Service will be held on Friday, July 10,2015 at 2pm at The Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
