Kevin Patrick Sullivan, 64, of West Dennis, MA and Carefree, AZ passed away peacefully on December 15 after living with cancer for 28 months. He was married to Catharine Sullivan with whom he joyfully shared his life for 14 years.
A skilled Navy and civilian pilot with a successful engineering career in aerospace, defense and appliances, he was a man of great accomplishment. Kevin actively participated in life -- golfing, fishing, cycling and navigating the skies and seas were his passions.
He will be greatly missed by his relatives and friends and most especially by his children and grandchildren: Ashley Everett, her husband Chris and grandchildren William and Henry; Abigail Wright and grandchildren Emerson and Margaret Elizabeth; Robert Sullivan; Molly Sullivan; and the mother of his children, Cynthia Hennessy.
Kevin was born in Wakefield, Massachusetts on March 17, 1954. He was the son of the late Margaret and Arthur Sullivan of Wakefield and the brother of Jack Sullivan of Reading, MA, Tim Sullivan of North Carolina, Brian Sullivan of Florida, and Ellen Sen of Melrose, MA.
He attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, New Hampshire College, and Harvard University’s Program for Management Development and proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He retired as Chief Technology Officer of Keurig/Green Mountain after revolutionizing single serve coffee systems. Calling hours will be Tuesday, December 18 from 4pm-7pm at Doane, Beal & Ames in Hyannis, MA. A Christian Mass to celebrate his life will be held at 11am at St. Pius in South Yarmouth, MA and will be followed by a burial at Woodside Cemetery in Yarmouthport, MA.
