LaBonte Rosemary

Rosemary LaBonte, 84, died peacefully on April 5, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Lucretia (Costa) Archie. Rosemary graduated from Commerce High School in 1950 and married Raymond M. LaBonte in 1952.

Rosemary lived in East Longmeadow, MA for 36 years. During this time she worked for Shawmut Bank and was a member of the women's auxiliary of the Jaycees. Upon retirement, Rosemary and Raymond moved to Hyannis, MA, where she enjoyed painting, knitting, baking, and travel. She was a volunteer at the Hyannis Senior Center where she received the 2011 Volunteer of the Year award.

Rosemary was preceded in death by her beloved Raymond in 2003 and by her brothers Gregory, Enrico, and Anthony. She is survived by her children, Raymond P. LaBonte, Lynn Lenihan, and Dianna LaBonte; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Joanne Zanoli.

A private burial will be held for Rosemary on Cape Cod. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Compassionate Care Hospice, 18 Orchard View Drive, Unit 4, Londonderry, NH 03053.
