Madeleine Elaine McDonald

January 10, 1945November 29, 2019

Madeleine Elaine McDonald, 74, passed away on November 29, 2019 at Cape Cod Hospital. Born and raised in Pawtucket, RI to Lawrence and Adrienne (Talbot) Burns. She attended East High in Pawtucket, RI and graduated in 1963. She moved to Cape Cod in 1979 with her husband Frank. She worked as a hostess at Friendly’s Restaurant in both Harwich and in Hyannis for 13 years and also worked as a hostess at Olive Garden in Hyannis for about 15 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, traveling with Frank and loved to decorate. She is survived by her husband Frank McDonald, her two daughters Traci McCabe and Kerri Martel, Frank’s three children Benjamin, Kristen and Lisa McDonald as well as her 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Pauline Gill. She is predeceased by her two brothers Ronald and Robert Burns. Memorial visitation will be held on Friday December 13 2019 from 4-7 pm at Doane Beal and Ames, 160 West Main St, Hyannis, MA 02601. Memorial mass will be held on Saturday December 14, 2019 at 11:30 am at Our Lady of the Assumption, 76 Wianno Ave, Osterville, MA 02655. We have wonderful memories of family birthdays, holidays, barbecues and of course the infamous whiffle ball games and years of races at Seekonk speedway!! You will be missed by all who loved you!!
