Mark J Rodrigues

Mark Joseph Rodrigues passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 22, 2024. Mark was the loving son of Joseph and Claire Rodrigues. He was born on October 22, 1976, at Cape Cod Hospital and grew up on the shores of Follins Pond in Yarmouth Port and on the sidelines of watching the Patriots, Celtics, and Red Sox games with his family and friends.

Following his graduation from Brewster Academy in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, he settled in Pompano Beach Florida, a long-time gathering place for his family, to continue his education and explore what the world had to offer. But soon returned to settle on Cape Cod.

He battled with Asthma his entire life and overcame triple-by-pass surgery at 40 but continued to have setbacks with his heart and complications from diabetes. But his spirit kept him strong, and his resolve for life was second to none.

Surviving him are his mother Claire Rodrigues and his father Joseph Rodrigues. His son Jack Griffin and wife Nicole, his stepsister Kim Bodary (Tod), his stepbrother Michael Kelly (Mia), his aunt Isabel Salvado and husband August, and his uncle Anthony Rodrigues and his wife Pam. Mark was preceded in death by his beloved uncle and Godfather "Manny" Rodrigues, his Godmother and aunt Dolores Fudala, and uncles John and Bernard Fudala.

A memorial service is planned for Aug.5th at 10:00 at St. Francis Xavier Church in Hyannis.
