Mary V. Pollock (Mamie), 82, died peacefully on March 22, 2017. Born October 25, 1934, she lived most of her life in Hyannis and was a graduate of Barnstable High School. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother and true friend. She always told it like it was. She had numerous fascinating stories of her life on Cape Cod. Mary is survived by her four sons: Walter “Chic” B. Pollock, III (James); John B. Pollock (Michele); Matthew R. Pollock (Janet); David A. Pollock (JoMarie); her grandchildren: Aaron, Alex, Abby, Giana, Lucy, and her great granddaughter, Olivia. She is also survived by her beloved cat, Amber.
