Matthew Evan Cochran

Matthew Evan Cochran, 49, of East Sandwich, beloved son of Edward and Cheryl (Syverson) Cochran, father of Kyle Evan Cochran of Hyannis, unexpectedly passed away on August 9th at Cape Cod Hospital. As a youngster, he followed in the footsteps of his older brother and his father in delivering the Cape Cod Times and Boston Globe through Lakewood Hills with his dog Fudge close behind. He loved people and would strike up a conversation with most anyone he met. He was a lover of the outdoors; making friends with the rabbits, squirrels, and he knew each red cardinal by their call. He always worked hard mowing and landscaping. Matt maintained a keen interest in history and spent many hours watching the History Channel. In addition to his parents and son Kyle, Matt leaves several aunts, uncles, cousins, his ex-spouse Rosiani Swift of Hyannis and his beloved dog and soulmate Stella. A Celebration of Matt’s life will be held at Christ Chapel,1200 Old Stage Road, Centerville on Saturday, October 24 at 3:00 P.M. All are welcome.
