She was born on August 18th, 1933 in Portland, Maine to Jacob and Sarah Mack. She was the youngest of 4 siblings, Evelyn Aronson, Carl Mack and Harold Mack (now deceased). Nancy loved learning. She graduated from Brandeis University in 1954 where she met her husband David Burman(now deceased) and they moved to Manchester, NH where she had 3 children; Jeffrey Burman, Cheri Paulson and Rhonda Perkins. Being a Mother was her pride and joy. Also at that time she taught nursery school fostering her love for children.
Upon moving to Cape Cod to join the family clothing business, Burman’s of Hyannis, Nancy partnered with her dear friend Elaine Perkins and founded The Tasty Morsel, a successful catering company servicing the Cape and multiple celebrities. They also published a book sharing their catering stories and recipes.
Nancy loved life! She enthusiastically loved her grandchildren; Zipporah and Jacob Burman, Drew Paulson and Zachary and Sarah Perkins. She loved cooking, entertaining, bridge, her book club, singing, music and art. She loved her many nieces and nephews who she called every year on their birthdays. She LOVED her many lifelong friends. Nancy was full of joy and could instantly light up a room with her smile and endless cheer. She will be dearly missed.
