Peggy A. Kelley

She was the daughter of the late Joseph (Cambridge MA) and Rita Kelley (Hyannis) and was the sister of the late Dennis and Michael Kelley. She is also pre-deceased by her husband James Carroll (Buffalo, NY) and daughter, Anne (Carroll) Mercer.

Peggy is survived by her sons, Scott and Jamie Carroll, Grandson Jeff Carroll and Granddaughter Jamie Lynn Mercer and four great grandchildren Jaylyn, Hakim, Nazaire and Blake.

She dearly loved her family and was very involved with her children’s lives. She was very active in Cub Scouts, and was a teachers aid at her old elementary school, Hyannis East, while her children where there and attended all the other events they were involved in.

Born and raised in Hyannis herself, Peggy enjoyed looking up the Kelley family history and landmarks, dating back centuries, when previous generations would come over from Waterford, Ireland.

Peggy was selfless, helping others was her favorite thing to do. Always taking in those in their time of need.

The burial will be at the Kelley family plot in the back left of the Oak Grove Cemetery on Sea St. on June 15, 2022 at 1:00 pm. Following the service a gathering will be held at 103 Childs St in Centerville.
