Priscilla Ann (Doane) Gregoire

Born in Hyannis, the daughter of the late Howard C. Doane, Jr., former owner of the Doane, Beal, & Ames Funeral Home, and Mary Ann (Scudder) Doane, Priscilla was raised in South Yarmouth where she attended school and graduated from Dennis-Yarmouth High School in 1977. A true “people person”, Priscilla spent her professional career making sure people were well fed at restaurants all over Cape Cod. She enjoyed the beautiful beaches of Cape Cod, searching for “Lady Luck” at various casinos on land and on cruise ships, the unconditional love of dogs and cats, and socializing with friends at the Hyannis Elks.

The most enjoyable role that Priscilla embraced was that of a loving and dedicated daughter, sister, wife, mother, and Meme. Her thoughtfulness and kind heart will live on in those that she loved and loved her in return.

Priscilla was the beloved wife of Leo Gregoire, devoted mother of Jacqueline Helene (Barber) Teixeira, soulmate sister of Pam Viegas, dear step-mother of Torey Gregoire, and cherished Meme of Luci, Josie, and Suzie.

Priscilla’s family will receive visitors at the Doane, Beal, & Ames Funeral Home, 160 West Main St., Hyannis on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 1-3 PM. There will be an opportunity for family and friends to share reflections of her life at 3 PM.
