The son of Vincent and Marie DeNisi, he was born in Winthrop, MA, and resided in East Boston, MA before moving to Arlington MA.
Mr. DeNisi was a member of the 102d Fighter Wing, Massachusetts Air National Guard, Logan IAP, East Boston MA. He continued his military service with the unit when it relocated to Camp Edwards on Cape Cod in 1968. He retired in 1995 as a Chief Master Sergeant with 32 years of military service.
Upon retirement, he moved to Orlando, FL with his loving wife of 32 years, Tiffany E. Leighton.
Besides his wife Tiffany, he is survived by his three daughters; Michelle, Nicole, Deidre and his brother Ronald A. DeNisi Sr.
Richard was predeceased by his parents, his younger brother, Robert V. DeNisi and his son Richard J. DeNisi Jr.
He is survived by six grandchildren; Cori, John Jr., Justin, Kenneth, Jordan, Séamus; and six great- grandchildren: Kaleb, Eliana, Jakob, Jameson, Henry and Camila.
Calling hours will be held Friday, August 14, 2026, from 9-11 AM at Doane Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 West Main Street, Hyannis, MA.
As requested by Richard, there will be no Funeral Service. A private family graveside ceremony, including a reading of Psalm 23, will be held at Oak Neck Cemetery in Hyannis, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
