I was saddened when I heard about Ron’s passing. Ron is one of the people who helped jumpstart my career with the bank and helped me tremendously along the way. He was one of the most caring people I had come across and truly cared about those he worked with and the community at large. He was always there when I needed advice. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Ron’s untimely passing. He was way too young. We grew up on 6th Avenue in Watervliet - down the street from the
Donnelly family. I remember Mr, and Mrs. Donnelly and the children. It was a wonderful time to grow up in Watervliet. Very safe, wonderful neighbors, peaceful. 6th Avenue holds many memories. I DO remember Ron being a DJ. Thanks for mentioning that in the memories. I do believe that Ron’s sister still lives in the same house on 6th Avenue???? Peace, hugs, and prayers to all

Ron touched the lives of so many at the bank due to his kindness and support over the years. When I think back to when I first entered the market, Ron was right there to help with how things worked in the summer on the Cape for the bank. He was patient, knowledgeable, and full of spirit. This was mostly evident in his passion and dedication to the community. Ron was a leader in this market by proactively creating connections throughout the Cape and finding opportunities for us all to volunteer. I can't even imagine how many people's lives he improved over the 40 years with the bank. I am so grateful for the years I have had with him and hope his family continues to see just how much of a positive impact Ron had on all of us. We will be finding a community event to volunteer at in his honor and will keep his legacy alive. Best wishes to all his loved ones...
