Stephen L. Hughbanks 1957-2021 MARSTONS MILLS- Stephen L. Hughbanks of Marstons Mills, MA, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis. He was the husband of Noralyn G. Hughbanks for 20 years. He was born on December 27, 1957 in Anchorage, Alaska, the son of the late Kenneth L. Hughbanks and Elizabeth Joan (Meritt) Hughbanks. Stephen is also survived by his siblings, Karen A. Lewis and husband Rick of Hampstead, NH, Mary Ellen Sylvia of East Falmouth, Mark E. Hughbanks and wife Gene of York Springs, PA, Michael K. Hughbanks of California, and Paul G. Hughbanks and partner Donna of North Carolina; as well as his nieces and nephews. Stephen acquired his Automotive Mechanic certification at Upper Cape Cod Reg-Voc Tech School in Bourne, Class of 1976. This made his family proud of him for being an expert mechanic. Stephen took pride in what he did. He worked as a mechanic with Bobcat of Cape Cod for more than two decades until he decided to run his own business for Bobcat repairs and services. He loved to ride his Harley Davidson, travel with his wife, and once was the president of Cape Cod Harley Davidson Motorbike Association. He was a big fan of the Patriots, and loved fishing. Together with his wife, they traveled to many places around the world. A Funeral Mass will be held on September 22, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Corpus Christi Parish, 324 Quaker Meeting House Rd., East Sandwich, followed by a private burial. I hadn't seen Stephen in years, but that isn't enough to forget about when Matthew and I were jumping on his bed as children, and broke it! I remember it being so big and high up... we just had to jump on it!

I also remember thinking Stephen and Noralyn were so nice and so fun! Always playing with us and such loving and kind people.

Stephen, you will be missed, and thank you so much for the fond childhood memories!
