Stephen Paul McGrath, 66, of Hyannis passed away at his home on Friday, January 24, 2020. He was the loving husband of Roberta Ann (Hallett) McGrath.

In his leisure time, Stephen found joy in gardening, handiwork projects and his passion for cars and trucks, attending auto shows for enjoyment and inspiration. Above all else, Stephen loved and cherished his family.

Stephen is predeceased by his brother Ralph P. McGrath, Jr. (2018) formerly of Falmouth. In addition to his beloved wife Roberta of 28 years, he is survived by his daughter Stacey Marshall and husband Matt of Brewster; stepsons Todd LeMay of Oregon and Guy LeMay of Hyannis; two adoring granddaughters Madison and Mallory; and his brother Kevin P. McGrath of Falmouth. It cannot go without mentioning Stephen also leaves behind his treasured prized possession, his dog, Elsa.

Dad,
I could not have asked for a better father and grandfather (Papa) for our girls. You did and would do anything and everything for us. You loved us all Mom, Matt, Madison and Mallory unconditionally. Your smile is all I see when I think of you right now, it's the only thing bringing me peace at this time.... I believe it's for a reason. Your baby girl is completely heart broken, you are gone way to soon. But I am thankful and truly blessed to have had you as my father. I love you so much and will miss you everyday, until we are together again. Keep smiling for me.
Love your baby girl
Tay xoxo

Steve we were just shy of having 65 years together. Where one was , the other wasn’t far behind . We both lost brother Ralph in 2018 to many illnesses. This has been a total shock I would’ve wanted any other phone call than this one . I’ll never forget either of you , I lost two brothers and two best friends...
