Stephen Jay Pinkham

He was born in Houghs Neck (Quincy) on June 9, 1950. He graduated from Abington High School in 1968. He started installing carpet with Flatley Company out of Braintree. He relocated to Cape Cod in 1970, started Pinkham’s Carpet Service and went on to carpet most of Cape Cod and beyond over the next 50 years.

He is predeceased by his mother Joan MacGregor and his brother Gary Tilley.

He is survived by his beloved wife Elaine Pinkham (Smith), his sisters Marsha Stubbert (Pinkham) and Sharon MacLeod (Pinkham) and her husband Scott and several nieces and nephews, and an amazing family of friends.

To know him was to love him. Stephen loved life, and laughter was his medicine. His favorite times were being with friends and family . Wherever he was a party was sure to break out.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held at Doane, Beal & Ames Funeral Home, 160 West Main Street, Hyannis, on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
