

Susan (DaLomba) Mattos, 68, of Marston Mills, Massachusetts passed away peacefully Sunday, January 18, 2026, at home in Stockbridge GA, surrounded by her children, family, and her beloved cousin and best friend, Pamela Lewis.
After a courageous two-and-a-half-year battle with breast cancer, Susan left this world the same way she lived her life—with strength, determination and grace. She lived every moment to the fullest and had a fearless passion to fight. She would always say “I’m going to beat this; this isn’t going to beat me,” always accompanied by her beautiful smile. She didn’t just pass through life; She embraced it fully, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she met. Her radiant spirit and strength will always remind us to live deeply, love generously, and appreciate the wonderful adventures of life.
Though she is no longer with us, her light and legacy will continue to shine brightly through the countless lives she touched. She was blessed with many cherished friendships throughout her life. Susan’s kindness, sense of humor, and caring nature drew people to her and was deeply loved by all who knew her. She will be missed dearly by her family, friends, and coworkers, and the many individuals whose lives she touched over the years.
Susan is survived by her Father, Emmanuel DaLomba and wife Rosetta of Florida. Her Husband, Ronald Mattos of Florida, Her children Sharie Fields and fiancé Luis Garcia of W. Barnstable MA, Daryel DaLomba and wife Vanessa of W. Yarmouth MA, Nichole DaLomba (Antoinne) of Louisville, KY and John Mattos of Fairdale, MA. Her Sister Estella Allen and husband Abe, Marlene Vicente, Brother Manny DaLomba, Twin Brother Robert DaLomba, Sister Candy DaLomba & Sister Barbara DaLomba. She also leaves behind 12 Grandchildren & 1 Great-Granddaughter, several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Susan was preceded in death by her Mother, Hilda DaLomba and niece Ligaya Dalomba.
A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, July 18th at Doane, Beal & Ames, 160 W. Main St, Hyannis, MA 02601 from 2pm-4pm.
