Sylvia Cushman Rocha

MA on February 19 th , 1931, and was one of five children. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Manny Rocha. Sylvia will be greatly missed by her beloved family and friends.

Sylvia professionally managed the Cape Cod Hospital Thrift Shop for 23 years until she retired at age 81. She traveled extensively including European travel and many cruises. She loved dogs and wildlife, walking, gardening, painting, sewing and was always active.

Sylvia was a wonderful mother and a loving grandmother. She is survived by her six children and their spouses, Joe and Ann Rocha of Pocatello, Idaho, Jane and Wayne Taylor of Mashpee, John and Mary Rocha of Belfast, Maine, Jim and Maria Rocha of Centerville, Julie and Brian Kelleher of Hong Kong, Jacquelyn

and Patrick Walsh of Osterville, her sister Susan Ludlow of Pembroke, 9 much loved grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

The family expresses its gratitude to the care professionals at Bayada Home Health for providing care and kindness to Sylvia for the last few years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 20, at 10:00am at St. Francis Xavier Church, Hyannis, MA, followed by a private, immediate family burial.
